The Enrolment Process

Enrolment Administration
The CPDA Office deals with all enrolment administration. Once applicants have assessed whether they are eligible the application and other details as stated in the guidance notes should be returned to the CPDA Administrator.

Application Submission
Once the application has been received the CPDA Administrator will check that all supporting documentation required is enclosed. Please note that no application can be processed until all relevant information has been provided. References often hold up the process so it is useful if the applicant sends these with their application.

Application Approval
The application is assessed by the CPDA Co-ordinator who will provide a letter of recommendation to the appropriate signatories. The UWE signatory is the CPDA Award Leader in the Department of Design and Engineering.

  • The University of Bristol Award
Delegates should receive an offer letter from the University of Bristol which is sent with the ordinances and regulations for the University of Bristol award. The applicant must complete the second page of the offer letter to accept/reject their place on the course and return this to the CPDA Secretary.

Once confirmation has been received that the student wishes to accept their place on the course, they will be supplied with a Student ID/Library Card with their letter welcoming them to the CPDA programme. The letter will detail how they can get hold of their own username and password via the Library website.

  • The University of the West of England
Delegates should receive an offer letter from UWE which is sent with their student ID/library card and details regarding their username and password for use of the Library/Computing facilities.
