Qualities Expected For Each Award

Postgraduate Certificate
At the beginning of the delegate’s programme, he or she may not have been involved in the learning process for a number of years. In addition to the management and technology skills acquired from each individual unit, the process of developing and writing the unit assignments will develop the delegate's ability to communicate. This allows both technical and non-technical broadening, to meet company and individual requirements.

Postgraduate Diploma
On completion of this stage the successful delegate will be highly competent and skilled at the postgraduate level. The learning will be reflected not only in their specialised area, but also in their ability to communicate across functional groups.

Master of Science
On completion of this stage the successful delegate will have shown originality in the application of knowledge and understand how the boundaries of knowledge are advanced through research. He/she will be able to deal with complex issues showing originality in tackling and solving problems.

Eng.D
On completion of the Doctorate, the successful delegate will have demonstrated the ability to expand the boundaries of existing knowledge in his or her chosen field. He or she will have shown how the new knowledge is applied within the Aerospace sector and its impact on other work in the field. He or she will have shown how research is effectively used to enhance progress in the sector.
