Postgraduate
Certificate (UWE)
This can be awarded on the successful completion of six modules, including
a pass in all six post-module assignments. The Certificate will be
awarded in either:

Total
Technology (Aerospace) - 2-3 core modules and the
remaining modules from the technology modules. Technology
modules could be any combination of modules from Aerospace,
Design and Manufacture. A minimum of three modules run by
the University of the West of England must be taken. or;

Technology
Management (Aerospace) - 4 Management modules including
2 - 3 core modules and the remaining modules from one or
more technology fields. A minimum of three modules run by
the University of the West of England must be taken.
Postgraduate
Diploma (UWE)
This can be awarded on the successful completion
of twelve modules, including a pass in all twelve
post-module assignments. The Diploma will be awarded
in either:
- Total Technology
(Aerospace) 4-6 of the core modules and the remaining technology
based modules. Technology modules could be any combination of modules
from Aerospace, Design and Manufacture. A
minimum six modules run by the University of the West of England must
be taken. or;

Technology
Management (Aerospace) - 4-6 of the core modules and seven
to nine management based modules, and one or more from the technology
fields. Technology modules could be any combination of modules from
Aerospace, Design and Manufacture. A
minimum of six modules run by the University of the West of England
must be taken.
MSc (UWE)
There are two awards offered through the University of the West
of England as follows:

MSc
in Total Technology (Aerospace)
This can be awarded on the successful completion of twelve modules
including 4-6 of the core modules and the remaining technology based
modules, to include a pass in all twelve post-module assignments.
A
minimum of three modules run by the University of the West of England
must be taken.

MSc
in Technology Management (Aerospace)
This can be awarded on the successful completion of twelve modules
including 4-6 of the core modules, seven to nine management and
the remaining from one or more of the technology fields, including
a pass in all twelve post-module assignments. A
minimum of three modules run by the University of the West of England
must be taken.
An industrially-based project must also be submitted, to the satisfaction
of both internal and external examiner. The project must be supervised
by an academic from the University awarding the degree. The modules
are worth 60% and project 40% of the overall assessment. The MSc
can be given with distinction.
Distinctions are awarded to MSc candidates who achieve a module
average of 70% or above, plus 70% or above in the project, not an
overall average of 70%+. Please note that Certificate and Diploma
candidates are only awarded Pass/Fail .
Eng.D
The Eng.D is due to be available at UWE in the near future.
