Disability Grants
Subject to the criteria
for Hardship Awards, payments may be made to postgraduates towards
actual costs arising from disability, depending on individual circumstances.
The costs are those which arise from requirements of being a student
which are over and above those
met by the Disabled Students' Allowance provided by the LEA or any
benefits provision. The DSA is available to postgraduates and includes
provision for dyslexia. Application for disability grants are incorporated
in the main Hardship application form.
In addition, payment of
dyslexia assessments may be made from the Hardship Fund for delegates.
For details on eligibility and dyslexia assessments, if you are enrolled
at both Universities you can contact the appropriate Office at either
