The Panasonic Trust

The Panasonic Trust, administered by the Royal Academy of Engineering, gives financial help with the further training of professional engineers. Successful applicants are normally awarded 50% of the fees.

Applicants who wish to apply for support to attend courses lasting longer than three months full time or equivalent, are required to obtain a letter from the CPDA Co-ordinator, confirming their suitability for the intended course.

Applicants are asked to approach the CPDA Co-ordinator directly and to provide a copy of their application together with these guidelines. The CPDA Co-ordinator is asked to comment on the following:
i. The relevance of the intended course to the applicant’s field of engineering;
ii. The suitability of the applicant to undertake the intended course;
iii. The content of the course with regard to ‘new technology’.

The application for funding should be forwarded to The Panasonic Trust, at the address below. Successful candidates will be asked to arrange for the CPDA Office to invoice the Panasonic Trust.

Information for Applicants and Employers, plus application forms, are available from the CPDA Office or you can contact the Panasonic Trust directly:
