The Panasonic Trust
The Panasonic
Trust, administered by the Royal Academy of Engineering, gives financial
help with the further training of professional engineers. Successful
applicants are normally awarded 50% of the fees.
Applicants who wish to apply
for support to attend courses lasting longer than three months full
time or equivalent, are required to obtain a letter from the CPDA
Co-ordinator, confirming their suitability for the intended course.
Applicants are asked to
approach the CPDA Co-ordinator directly and to provide a
copy of their application together with these guidelines. The CPDA
Co-ordinator is asked to comment on the following:
i. The relevance of the intended course to the applicant’s
field of engineering;
ii. The suitability of the applicant to undertake the intended course;
iii. The content of the course with regard to ‘new technology’.
The application for funding
should be forwarded to The Panasonic Trust, at the address below.
Successful candidates will be asked to arrange for the CPDA Office
to invoice the Panasonic Trust.
