The
Bristol and West of England Consortium for Continuing Professional Development
in Aerospace (CPDA) is a national professional development scheme aimed
at graduates with substantial industrial experience. 
The
CPDA Office based at the University of Bristol is your main contact.
We deliver the following services:

with module selection

onto modules
- Module
material and information
- Supervision
of your industrial project
- Award
of your Certificate, Diploma orMSc
- General
guidance relating to modules, assignments, projects and individual
status
The Approach
The scheme adopts the holistic or “systems” approach to
the implementation of technology. This is embodied in the concept
of “Total Technology” whereby technological, business,
human and strategic factors and their interactions are considered
together, with aspects of their management and control as an integral
part of the scheme. The scheme therefore provides delegates with the
opportunity to pursue modules which complement their existing qualifications
as appropriate, plus their career aspirations.
The Delegate
The students or “delegates” (as we refer to them) on this
scheme are normally company sponsored with a number of years industrial
experience, depending on the award for which they are aiming, see
