Welcome to the Bristol and West of England Consortium for Continuing Professional Development in Aerospace (CPDA)

The CPDA was established as a flexible part-time postgraduate scheme in 1991 by the British Consortium. This consortium consists of the University of the West of England and the University of Bristol, which act in partnership with over 65 Aerospace organisations including Airbus UK, Rolls-Royce Plc, Agusta Westlands, Qinetiq, MOOG Controls Ltd, Defence Procurement Agency, Royal Air Force, Ministry of Defence, Royal Navy and Marshalls Aerospace.

A key feature of the scheme is that it is developed, managed and executed in partnership between the companies and the universities.

There are over 35 modules available within the area of Aerospace, Design, Manufacture and Management. Each module is available as a stand alone short course, or as part of a postgraduate award. Modules are usually held over five days, normally in Bristol. There is a choice of three awards from either the University of Bristol or the University of the West of England.

University of Bristol

University of the West of England
